LH crank keeps loosening
Its one of the new fangled ones - BB30 ? Has been fine for a year or so, but now its slackening off after every ride or so.
I keep retightening it, but its loose by the end of the day. I wonder if the cranks thread is damaged now or would a hefty retightening and loctite work ?
I guess I'll look at the bike when I get home later.

Most likely the splines have become worn because the bolt has come loose. Take them off and inspect. Any wear should be fairly obvious, look for shiney edges and/or grey dust.
This happened to some cranks i had. The only answer was replacement sadly.0 -
Depends on what model of crank as over-tightening could result in overloading the bearings. Certainly a Loctite like 641 bearing-fit might be a solution if the alternative is ditching them.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
