Turbo trainer & QR skewer

Do turbo trainers work with QR skewers or will I need a non QR rear skewer.
I have borrowed a Nagaoka Mag Trainer to keep fit while recovering from a broken collar bone. I'm not sure if it's ok or not with the QR though it does fit
