Just about to buy myself an "Endura Helium Jacket", tried one on yesterday in my local bike shop and the fit is great, a nice race cut, better than my Altura Pocket Rocket, but did a search on the net last night and there is mixed reviews of this jacket.
Has anyone got one of these jackets? What do they think of the quality & waterproof?

  • In exactly the same position myself, did you ever hear anything back on this?

I don't, but I have just bought a Gore Path from Royles for the same money in their sale. Wore it over the weekend in the lakes in torrential rain and it kept me dry, apart from a little water ingress around the neck where I hadn't tightened it up enough. Might be worth a look, i'd recommend it without hesitation.

  • I have the Helium and it is a very decent jacket. Lightweight, good fit, keeps me dry and keeps wind out as well. Fairly breathable but it can get hot (full zip so that takes care of that). Packs down OK but not too small, fits in rear pocket but I do find myself checking it is still there from time to time, it always is.
