Looking to go from triple to double and bash but my pitch pro has a direct mount front mech, looking through CRC the options for front mechs are not very clear. How much wriggle room do i have with chainring sizes? i wanted to try maybe 22t and 36t or 38t, but the mechs are listed as 42t with 18 total capacity how do i size for a double?

On my Reign I use my standard mech with the low/high screws adjusted to suit the double, works fine.0

you use your existing mech. But as it is a Direct mount you may not be able to use the sizes you want as you can not move the mech much in a vertical direction."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

So there is no need to try to get the mech low to the outer ring? as long as it clears the bash ?A feather is kinky, a whole chicken is just perverse.0

but as you plan a bigger "middle" ring the mech will need adjusting. which way depends on how you go about the set up."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
