New turbo question (I know...yawn!)

I’m looking to get a new turbo trainer to replace my ageing Elite travel mag. which is sounding more like our washing machine (also ancient but less important) every time I use it.
One good thing about it is the way I can swap Mrs B’s mountain bike over from my road bike without having to make any manual adjustments for the different tyre sizes as it compensates ‘automatically’ with the roller being on a spring loaded thingamybob.

Does anyone do this type of regular swap with a more up to date turbo that adjusts automatically?
From what I can see quite a few would involve resetting the position of the roller in relation to the wheel using some kind of manual knob thing or height adjustment.
I’d like to avoid this if poss. As it would be one more thing to discourage me from setting the thing up.
Budget would be under £200 and would like it to be quieter (fluid??)…any pointers?

Many of the new Elite turbo trainers use the bike/rider weight to provide the pressure on the roller so they also 'automatically' adjust. Why not get yourself a nice new Cycleops Fluid 2 instead and leave the old crap one for the wife?
