F1 question...

Watched the F1 on the Beeb and have a question - the screen showed Hamilton leading, underneath his name it said Interval. His name was followed by the other racers but the numbers underneath each name were all over the place. Normally the numbers show the time difference between them and the leader. Am I missing something? Ta.

it does depend on what times they are showing.
sometimes it can show the gaps between the drivers."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The interval is the time gap to the next driver, they only show this now rather than the cumulative time to the leader.0

Thanks SBezza. Personally, I think it's a stupid way to do it. At least they changed the lap counter back from counting down from (say) 60 laps left to the old system of laps done.0 -
I also want to know why the system of abbreviating the drivers names is inconsistent, i.e.
Hamilton = HAM
Button = BUT
Alonso = ALO
All well and good, but why is Michael Schumacher = MSC and not SCH?0 -

He used to be before his brother started racing in F1.
Then it changed, and they never changed it back.0
