Hi,
I'm planning to do an 'end to end' ride this year for charity and wondered whether there is any information out there regarding the organisation of the ride. In particular route maps and youth hostels on route.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Simon.

The CTC website has a forum dedicated to LEJoG - by far the best starting point for research and advice:

I did a rather different route to the direct one but I tried to put as much information on the blog I created when I did it 6 weeks ago. Hopefully you'll find something useful on there.

I went a pretty direct route and split my evening stops into B&B's and hostels - I found the hostels in Scotland far nicer than those in England to be honest.

Did it last year and took quite a direct route. Not really much to the blog as it kind of fell by the wayside but its got the route we took - well town to town. Basically we just booked somewhere to stay near where we were going to each day. We did it supported with a driver and Van from work.Boardman Team 09 HT

I've got maps and an itinerary from when I did it in 2005, PM if interested.0
