I am shortly going to be replacing my now dead fork of my merida 96 full sus bike.
That was the SID team fork. Can't afford that price right now but can look at around £350 max. One I have looked at is the rockshox recon gold RL. Does anyone have any opinions of a suitable replacement. I don't really car e if its last years model id the price is right and it works with the quality of the frame.

Merlin had some Fox F100 RL's for £350 last week and RS Reba RLT TI Remote again for £350 saving £300 and SID WC for £3900

The rockshox recon is a good fork with good adjustability for a good price
