Nice mate, love the colour coded hope gear. Mine is a similar spec, but I had to ditch the easton bars as they felt totally wrong. Swapped with some high rise Renthals and the bike feels much better now.Orange Five AM

Love it!!
Where did you get the team edition hopes from? They really finish this off0 -
Lovely looking bike, I bet the colour gets lots of heads turning. I'd be interested in hearing the weight as well, looks like a killer build.0

Thanks for the kind comments chaps
@chicko, @MountainMonster according to my luggage scales the weight is 14.53kg, tyres, wheels and brakes make up a large part of it, Wheels are 2Kg+, Tyres 1.6Kg+, Brakes 1kg+, 10 speed XT11/36 cassette comes in at 343
A new set of wheels is on the cards for next year!
@jacksonrg I did consider the Renthals but I didn't want to take any chances with shape, I've always used Easton. I take the "better the devil you know" approach when buying bars, would like to try a set though.
@ravey E-bay Mate, I'd already bought a set of new "Hint of green" M4s when I came across the V2s, luckily I hadn't got round to fitting them so sent them back. They weren't cheap as I absolutely had to have them! They do make a nice feature though.0 -
i like it! not a fan of orange 5s usually but the green ones look particulary good.
those rims aren't that good and quite heavy. i split the welded part of the rim last year. some stans rims would suit this better and bring the weight down. or if you have the cash, a set of easton havens. i saw exact same frame with a pair of havens and it looked really nice0 -

I am a fan of orange fives, and that's gorgeous! love the colour, making me truly jealous, as i'm currently putting together the money for my new AM full sus build, can't wait!0

That thing is looking beastly! Nice to see a 5 in a different colour, not red/ blue ect. Making me look forward to my green ragley piglet build!0

All nice comments!
The most rewarding are those that start
I don't really like Orange fives but...................
I've also had "I don't go in for colour coding but........"
@Jay The wheels will be the first thing that gets upgraded, I've found them to be strong and reliable albeit a bit heavy. I'm tempted by the Havens but on balance a set of Flows on EVO 11s would probably the most sensible/reliable option.
@Harry, green is the new black!
Very positive, thanks fellas.0 -
