Roof mounting a Trek Remedy

Hi all,
I have a Trek Remedy 8 which at the minute I carry on a Thule towbar monted rack, I am looking to change cars and was considering get a roof mount rather than having to get a towbar fitted on my new car.
The question is does anybody have a recommendation of a roof mount for my bike. I have had a look at a Thule 591 but I am not sure about the security with the shape of frame of my Remedy.
Any thought appreciated.

TBH i would have a tow bar fitted. If I could have I would have."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Depends on the car, I had to have the rear bumper cut if I was going to have a towbar so opted for bars....the 591 will work with the Remedy

+ 1 for the Thule. I have the 591's and own a remedy and have no problems at all. Takes seconds to secure the bike to the roof and seconds to take down again. Would def recommend.0

just checking but these arnt ford specific are they? i just need the roof bars already and this system fits to it?0
