  • The Cube is better in at least one way, it's 99p cheaper.

Seriously I'd go rockrider, but if it's just a choice between those two - see if you can test ride them both and buy the one "your friend" feels most comfortable on.

Assuming they fit, the Rockrider: it has better, well, everything! Lighter too.

No contest - as Supersonic says the complete spec is higher in every way and it's lighter....get a test ride and make sure it fits and have the Rockrider,,,,,,,,,,,,now I've seen this, it's a tempting proposition for my nephew who has 'out-grown' his apollo special !
  • Hi i'm looking to buy my first mounting bike and was looking at the Decathlon but won't manage to get to a shop till the 24th so i've been trawling the main sites and saw the Sunn Prim S2 from CRC and wonders anyones thought about the two  ,this is me not wanting to hijack this thread :oops

  • As a Rockrider 8.1 owner, I can say that it is a cracking bike for the money. Can't comment on the other though, but one good thing about Decathlon is that they honor warranty very well. For some reason my gear were not working properly, I took the bike for its first free service, and the mechanic was not happy with the gear-indexing (he just could not get it to go smoothly), so he simply changed the back derailleur and the cassette for free as it is under guarantee.

Don't know anything about Sunn but the spec looks great for the money.
