Hardtail £500-£600 that can be picked up this weekend?

hiya, trying to find a bike for a friend who wants to ride this weekend so want to try and find a bike from somewhere like evans etc where we can go collect easily. apart from that no real criteria. will be general xc riding nothing to hard core.

at the mo hes leaning towards the rockhopper but if there is a better bike for around the same money then it would be considered!

To be honest they are all ok and comparible..the Kona has the better fork but the other have slightly better gears....if he can get away with a small or medium, I would recomend this

Great fork with adjustable travel, decent groupset and brakes...and bang on budget

What ever he choses out of the four, and if he gets hooked they are all ripe for upgrades
