Hertfordshire/Essex to Central London

Hi,
I have just changed jobs and am looking for a new commutable route. I am currently working near Temple Tube station and looking for a good route from North London.
I live near Stansted Airport, so initial thought was to drive to the Chingford/Epping area and cycle in from there, looks mostly on road so 15 mile each way shouldn’t be a problem (used to ride 19 miles off road each way in previous role).
Could also think about setting off from a bit further out such as Harlow (although that would bump up to around 25 miles each way)
Anybody do a similar route ? and any recommendations ?
I was looking at a route alongside the river Lee and then crossing Victoria Park, but unsure of safety early in morning/late at night in these areas

No problems with safety at all.
You could start quite far out along the Lea if you wanted.0 -
