how do you buy a inner tube?

i have got a shimano wheel to use on the turbo and a tyre but need an inner tube. how do i know the size etc that i need? sorry very dumb on this issue!

March into your LBS and ask for a 700c tube with a long (48mm) presta valve. That'll do the job.

It can be confusing.

Assuming it's a standard road bike wheel, you want a 700c tube.

Also sold as 700x 18/25c - meaning it will fit inside a tyre from 18 to 25mm wide. Your turbo tyre will probably be 23mm.

thank you, yes it is confusing! i didnt want to buy one that wouldnt fit, plus didnt know if there was different diameter ones etc my wheel is an a500 well thats what it has on its rim.

Are you sure it doesn't say R500? that is shimano's cheap road wheel.
If so its 700c.
