I thought this was a pretty good idea, a vest made from 3M reflective strips

    I'm sure I read somewhere recently that reflective strips should be at least an inch wide to be effective from a distance - which is why most cycling gear with reflective accents wouldn't pass the Euro standard for 'hi visibility'

    I like the idea of the vest but not sure how effective it would really end up being.
