A blog worth reading?

I was trawling through the web recently when I came across this new, young mountain bike blogger. His posts are funny and I actually found they made me want to get out and ride. He has just started and I think he deserves some support.
Just ride.

I include myself in the pointless blogging crowd with nothing to say. Or more twits, FB and so on now, all pure drivel.
Have to excuse me, I've now got to tweet about this.0 -

Assuming no-tail's comment is correct, there's nothing wrong with a bit of shameless self-promoting! Aside from the fact that there is only one entry so far, I am encouraged that a 15 year old can write so well. And without resorting to using numbers as letters and replacing s'es with z's (sorry to generalize but I am old and pedantic)!0

Whilst I agree there is nothing wrong with shameless self promoting (have I told you how awesome I am lately by the way), I always find it a bit webbo when people try to pretend to be someone else when trying to promote theirselves.
It's a bit like people who refer to theirselves in the 3rd person. Why?
Why not just say "Hey, I've just started this blog, I personally think it makes a good read and could be a good way to kill 10minutes when you should really be doing some work. Give it a read if you like." You come across as much less of a douche in doing so.
Besides, the blog in question lacks several key features. Limes, Hookers in ditches with backwards heads, Seaside towns in Wales, and that Cat With no Tail chap, he's awesome you know.0 -

I done a blog...but I got bored with it and stopped. It was reviewing alfajores and I realised that I enjoyed eating them far more than writing about them.Formally known as Coatbridgeguy0
