Hello guys i have come across this bike on ebay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150690150882? ... 1423.l2649
I know the carrera vulcan is a good bike as i have read a few reviews but can anyone tell me if this particular model of the vengeance is any good as i cant find any reviews on it. It is a limited edition so it comes with hydraulic breaks and uprated front suspension.
I have checked completed listings and it should sell for around £250 and im considering bidding for it.
Thank you.

Its a good well spec budget bike that normally sells new for around £299 depending on Halfords price fixing.
If you can get it for less than £150 its a good buy.0 -
The fork is a basic one but overall they are well put together...just buy it then it will stop you posting all the time !0

New the bike would be good value at £300 ish, given the low (claimed use) anything upto £225 would be a good buy.
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
It sold for £218. I bid upto £200 as it would cost me £30 fuel for collection so it wasnt worth it for me.
Does anyone know anything about Merida Matts 40-D? (2011). I know someone who is selling a used one at a very good price. They retail for around £400 new.
I cant seem to find any reviews on them
Here is the bike

It's OK depends how much he wants for it0 -
He wants £280 for it but it has a few marks. Im even considering buying it new as i really like the looks of it.
Is it worth paying £400 for a new one?
How does it compare to this bike? Another bike im interested in if i decide to spend around £400.

GT's are great frames, you are never going to get an amazing spec for your budget but it will do for a whizz around a trail centre or local wood...they are good frames so can be upgraded over time...
This is also worth considering
