hi everyone i am just getting back into mtb, i live in solihull, birmingham and my other hoby is photography, i have a 2005 gt aggressor but am looking for a new bike i have about £2000 to spend any ideas i would really like a full sus, i had a few in mind that i like so let me no what you think whyte t120s, gt sensor 2, gt fury 2, yeti sb_66 thanks your feed back would be greatly appreciated and if you no of any othe bikes that would be great :D

    What do you want to use it for ? xc/trail or doing drops and jumps etc ?? for xc and trail centres then a 120 to 140mm travel FS will suffice...the Whyte is a good bike, so is the Trek EX8. Cube AMS 130 and some of the Ghosts are good value....also look at Canyon they do some amazing spec'd bikes for the money and are getting great reviews...

    Like I always say, shortlist to a maximum of 3 then try and demo.....and if you know somewhere selling the new Yeti SB66 for £2k I will have two !!! a build on these will cost around £3.5k minimum plus they are like rocking horse poop

    my bad did not see frame set underneath on the yeti, i will be using it for xc/ trail thanks for your feed back

    I nearly wet myself thought full Yeti for £2k!!

    Take a look at Giant Trance X, gets great reviews and well within your price range

    Hi there! I'm newly back into MTB'ing and live in Moseley! Just ordered a Cube Ltd Race as I also had a 2005/06 GT Aggressor and felt I needed an upgrade! Where do you go riding? We go to Clent, Lickey's and up to Cannock.

    ive been to cannock a couple of times now with a pal but i need to upgrade my gt before i go any were else

    I don't blame you, I did "Follow the Dog" on my GT last week and it was interesting! Mechanical brakes gave up half way round :shock:
