hi.i have a set of hayes stroker trail brakes and my rear seems to be dragging a bit and ive noticed that one of the pistons seem to be sticking out more than the other,
is there a way i can fix this myself without knackering my system instead of taking it to lbs.....
cheers for any advice

Lube with a bit of brake fluid and move the pistons in and out a bit, being carefull not to let them pop out.

There is no need to remove the reservoir cap.

Remove the pads, and jam the moving piston down. Pull the lever to expose the sticky piston a little. Clean with water. Rinse and repeat. Add a very small amount of DOT 4 (or 5.1) fluid to the piston and seals, and move piston out again. Repeat. Hopefully will free it up. Mop up all excess fluid.
