MagicShine fixes

One of my Magic-shine china special clones has stopped working, the green light comes on but it won't switch on. it isn't the battery I know that much.
I had a look but aside from the lens cap coming off and exposing the LED and board there is no "obvious" way to expose the internals.
Any tips on what to do next, how to strip it down etc what may or may not need replacing?
Cheers

OK Just found this http://www.el34world.com/Misc/bike/BikesLights35.htm
I seem to be stuck on removing the heat sink retainer or it might just be the heat sink? it has 2 small holes, one either side, like you need a tool to unscrew it?....any tips for removing these?0 -
Yeehaa (RIP) was quite useful with lights.I don't do smileys.

You need 2 small screw drivers inserted into the holes and rotate the sink anticlockwise (it unscrews). The LED & driver part should drop out as you push the cable in.0

Needle nose pliers, open out and insert one tip in each hole....
