Some Boardman era team Gan bib shorts from circa 1995. Chamois is a little thin but apart from that they are still really comfy.0

My commute bike is a 94 Ridgeback mountain bike. It hasn't fallen 2 bits yet.Justice for the 960

a selle san marco "canguro" seat post mounted travel pack. Still holding good since 1991, although is starting to get holes where it rubs on the seat post, or more accurately seat posts plural 'cos it's seen out 3 bikes in it's time. I do wish I'd kept the sandwich pack that fitted under the top tube - remember them.0

A La Vie Claire winter jacket, same basic design as this. Bought it in 87/88 (I think, can't be sure). Wore it to the pub when I first got it, I was so chuffed with it.
I've worn it maybe half a dozen times in the last 20 years (mostly of these in the last five )

Reading Terry Pratchett. If I were a student of the classics I'd be citing the Ship of Theseus conundrum.John Stevenson0 -
I've got a 1946 Humber Sports bike I take out for a spin every now and then0

Still use my 1992 Kona Lavadome MTB. Converted it last summer to a single speed and gave it a re-spray, only really use it for nipping down the shop in the village or bashing around the campsite on our summer holidays in France but still love it.
Do my legs count as being old? They feel old.0 -

A pair of sexy and curvy Cinelli Criterium handlebars bought in 1989. Scratched to bits but still going.
My mate spent 180 squid on a carbon handlebar and stem combo for his Look. I calculated that he is a massive 180gms lighter than my set up. Some people.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Pinarello001's ass after getting him out of Modways gaol.0

Purchased for the princely sum of 1/11d, just short of 10p (using new speak) in 1956, eeh we were poor but appy.0

H - you are an old piece of kit, so therefore YOU are the oldest kit you own. That is more than rhetorical, that is like cycling existentialism. Mind you, you know what they say - "Mad dogs an Englishman..."
PS Notice the complete absence of aphostrophies?
PPS Can you post here when your sugar levels are at rock bottom - that would give all of us quite a giggle ? Ta.
PPPS And stop stalking me, it is spooking the hell out of my OH!seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
The BMW Isetta is my oldest piece of kit but I'm even older than my car!
PS It's apostrophes not apostrophies
PPS Blood Glucose was 70mg/dl this morning (normally 85) when I woke up, that's a hypo, but not enough for a typo.
PPPS Say Hi to OH for memy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Oakley Gen 1 M Frames, clear frames with blue iridium lenses, bought these way back prob early 90's, best value for money ever item.
