Hi everyone
I've got a Trek 1.2 (2010) compact road bike. I need some new brake pads (front and rear) fitted. I had it checked a few months back by a free workshop and they said it needs done.
Could someone recommend one? I'm not too sure which ones to go for and which ones will fit (are they all the same?).
Cheers

do the brake pad holders have a screw towards the rear?
if so, they are most likely shimano/sram compatible - just loosen the screw until it clears the notch in the pad and you'll be able to slide the pad backwards out of the holder
with winter coming, koolstop salmon, or swissstop are good choices

if its anything like the 2011 its just a one piece brake pad so you will want to look at getting some brake blocks with removable pads, then the reply above will make more sense.0

Replaced my worn Ultegra pads with Swissstop. Excellent quality.Purveyor of "up"0
