I couldn't find much beyond Tentsmuir and "Go to pitmedden or the sidlaws" out on the web, so I've started compiling a list of rights of ways, estate roads and paths and other stuff in the area.

Anyone with any suggestions for me to investigate welcomed.

Iv'e got plenty more to add,
You can get a fair distance from the end of the bridge with hardly a touch on public road.

Looks like you've covered most of the areas I used to ride. Still up that way several times a year and keep thinking of trying to make a ride around Normans Law near Luthrie - probably not a ride from Wormit but had a walk up it a couple of moths back and reckon the down could be interesting. Wouldn't be ever so long, quite slippy/grassy first section but with a bit of use...Also think there should be loads across the Lomonds but again is definately not a ride from Wormit and haven't been up them in years, although I know there is a decent little path from just outside Falkland.
Hope you find more and will keep an eye on you blog for when I'm up next!

I am far from complete in filling in what I have done so far.
At the weekend I set off from Wormit over Peacehill to Bottomcraig and then up the path to Gauldry, Stocked up on Penny Sweets and set off for Balmerino on the road, took the Birkhill road to the house and then up onto the Newburgh road, down to Flisk Kirk and then on to Ballclunie Castle and over the hill to Glenduckie. Off towards Ayton but turned up Normans Law on the firetrack which is part of the Coastal route, then followed the coastal route to the road into Norman's law, went up Norman's law (a bit of a hike a bike...) and then retuirned to Luthrie on the path. Was running out of light by then so just blasted on down the road through Gauldry.

Lomonds is a bit far from Wormit though!

Just done a bit of route mapping on OS OpenSpace, that's got more up than I have written up so far.

A few more added tonight, slowly going through my list of routes done so far.

Did Wormit to Newburgh last weekend.
Wormit to Balmerino on Coastal Path
Balmerino to Birkhill on the Thornton Road
Went up Greenhill Drive and straight on at Hazleton to Creich and then to the Road up Norman's law, onto Ayton Hill
Ayton Hill to Glenduckie and then up the hill on the Coastal PAth where I lost time trying to find the route.
Eventually found it and went on to Old higham, I wish I had then gone back down to glenduckie or down to the road. THe right of way is a complete midden.

Left Wormit at half 12 and got to newburgh in darkness (About quarter to 4)
Had my lights thankfully but stupidly decided to try and find the Ayton to Luthrie RoW in the dark. I didn't so had to do a fair bit on the A912 and A92, thankfully they aren't all that busy roads.

Those routes will be added to the listing in the near future...

    Hey,

Nice wee blog you've got going there.. Its really cool to see someone else riding the routes i grew up riding and still do when i'm back in the area (My family home is in Gauldry).

When i have more time i will have a proper look through your blog, as i might have a few suggestions for linking up routes......
