rockshox reba sl - time for a service?

I've noticed that the blue lock off lever on the top of my forks feels loose, it had quite a firm feel to it before. It still does stiffen up the front forks but maybe less so than before but this might just be me looking for something that isn't there. Does anyone know if this is a tell tale sign of needing a service or do I wait for a more apparant problem to appear first?

The forks need a good service after every 50 hours of use or so. It sounds like it needs a strip and service, and oil change.0

50 hours? That would equate to a rebuild every 6 - 8 weeks, just checked LBS website and they're quoting from £50 for a service, is this reasonable or is it something I should do at home myself?Boardman Team Hard Tail

Can be done at home pretty simply! All service files are (somewhere...) on the SRAM website.0

Yes, I service my Rebas at home. Just make sure you have the tools, oils, etc., and follow the service guide.0
