winter socks

hi.im looking to get some winter socks for myself from the kids as a xmas pressie,don't want to spend a fortune that i dont have.looking for any advice on what's good and reasonably priced.
seen some dhb socks on wiggle,are they worth a punt or endura baa baa.

  • Woolie Boolies are great, warm but not waterproof. Sealskins if you're looking for waterproof.

    cheers chris.not that fussed about waterproof but warm would be a must.
    i'll have a look at them,what about neoprene socks.are they worth a look....

  • Neoprene shoe covers work well. Not sure about neoprene socks though, sounds a bit sweaty to me?

  • Sealskinz Mid Thermal Merino ones with Enduro Baabaa Merino Wool Socks underneath. Toasty feet. If my feet are still cold then I can put a pair of normal Enduro socks on too :lol:
  • I wear my normal cycling socks with regular thermal socks over them. I do liie to ride from dawn in the snow though. :D
