bmc slx01

has anyone had any experiences with the bmc slx01. im thinking of buying one off a mate for a decent price but am a bit unsure as to the carbon and alloy bonded frame and streampost. i know this frame was used by the some of the bmc pro tour team last year so it must be quality. any feedback would be appreciated

    I think someone here had a BMC frame issue a few weeks back and had a slightly different frame as a replacement, much to his chagrin, prompting a ding-dong thread of consumer rights. I tried to find it, but the search function appears to be borked right now; only returning this thread as the sole reference for "BMC".

    Search isn't fully restored, but you could do worse than pm member slx01 & ask for his experience.

    thanks for your help dr lex, ive pm slx01 for his opinion, ive been offered the bike for 1300 which i thought was a good deal considering hes never really used the bike. ive been told it was the 2010 model but the problem i have is this easton streampost gets mixed reveiws and just wondering how bmc afterservice is.
