On Friday night a friend of mine was knocked off his bike in Birmingham at around 10.30pm by a van, the van did`nt stop. My wife got a call from his wife, she was in tears. I was told that he has a fairly big cut above his right eye and a damaged spleen. He`ll be in hospital for 4-5 days..
There were about five witnesses so hopefully this will lead to something. It makes me sick and angry that somebody can do this and drive off leaving somebody lying there in the road, luckily he (Pete) was concious and wearing a helmet which helped alot.
I`ll keep you posted when I find out more, be careful out there guys
