Winter Tyres for the MTB Commuter

Might be a bit premature but these tyres were on sale at Cycle Sports. Continental Top Contact Winters 26x1.9:

I fitted them last night and rode them into work this morning, so far they feel very good although it's far from winter here yet (still in double digits!).

Interested to see how they fare once it gets colder, snows and the ice demons arrive ...

    My studded tyres are going on the MTB tonight. I'll be using the fixed with 23mm's until the ice or snow hits.
