view new posts option

Hate to be the first to moan about the new forum, not intended to be a moan more like a question 
On the new forum is there a way to view new posts in a particular sub section (eg all the new posts in the road sub forums or mountain bike sub forums)?
The view new posts option now just seems to cover the whole site, rather than the old way where you could do this but also just use it for a particular section too.

That's usually the link I also go straight to everytime I login, I only read the Road subforum, and there seems to be no 'view new posts' option for sub-forums

The View New Posts since last visit (Mountain Bike section) is the only option I ever use
I see it's on the main page of the forum, but not yet on the sub sections.
Hope it's sorted soon as it's a major ballache sifting the wheat from the chaff and it makes me want to not bother using the forum (I'm not flouncing off, just being honest)
