Hang on, so it doesn't work right in Firefox in widescreen, or IE7? You guys didn't pay money for this did you?Uncompromising extremist0

Quick check, CTRL + F5 do anything for you?
Just sometimes, cached stylesheets cause problems when updating sites.
Otherwise. Chrome. Sorted.0 -

I'll also try ctrl f5 tomorrow but I will not be able to install my own browser at work so I'll be screwed. What was wrong with the old forum?0

The more sites that look crap in IE7 the better. Finally get a chance to get rid of crap non-compliant browsers and make it easier for developers. IE8 is the next target. They should never have put the compatibility view in it, that just prolongs the existence of badly written web sites (those that are written to only work with crap versions of IE!).
Still infuriating how many people still use IE6! Most of them are corporates who won't upgrade their systems.0 -
Zero problems with the forum and Chrome for me, on two different PCs.0

Still no joy for me.
Can't upgrade so I can no longer use the forum. This still feels very short sited IMHO...0 -

Google Chrome is the main browser now-a-days, and almost everyone uses it. It works perfectly fine on here, you can't always expect new things to work on old tech.0 -

Can't ref the quote I want, because as soon as I log in - half a screen (and refresh doesn't work)
But to add to the comment that chrome is the main browser these days - not in the corporate
world it isn't, and certainly not in my place where Office dominates, and can't download chrome
either.2011 Black Canyon Nerve XC9.00 -
As I say, corporate world is often still stuck on IE6. There are loads more web sites that don't work on it, some even refuse to (thankfully).
Corporate argument is you should be doing work instead of course
If you can get a USB stick in there, portable apps, portable Chrome or some other portable browser that works and just run it off the stick without having to install anything. Might be against your security policy of course though
Or, decent smartphone or a netbook and use that in the office. Perhaps a bit OTT just to browse the forums, but got to get priorities right.0 -

Er, no it isn't... Depending on which set of numbers you trust, either IE or Firefox is the most popular, and Chrome is second or third. Has less than a third of the market
About 1 in 4 IE users is still on 6 or 7 incidentally, that's around 1/20 of all users.Uncompromising extremist0 -

People are reporting big issues with the new forum and chrome too.
Maybe we should all go back to Netscape Navigator.
Which morphed into Firefox.I don't do smileys.
