Ok i know its not a mountain bike, not sure where else I can put this one lol
Anyway, as a xmas present for the missus, I'm doing a quick build.. I suggested a mountain bike to her but apparently BMX's are "cooler" so its a BMX then..
Anyway, I managed to snap up a BMX on ebay, it looks to be a Halfords branded one but no worries, shes not into the bikes like I am so this should do nicely :P
So I collected it and stripped the bad bits off straight away (levers, chain, cables, brake pads, seat post, pedals)..
So by the night of day 1 it looked like this....
After cleaning the gunk from the crank, I decided to pop it back on for now, though I may change it for a chrome one..
So day 3 its at this stage..
cranks back on, new chain, new front brake cable, original seat back on..
Next, new cables for the gyro rear brake, levers, grips and its pretty much done then
However, I put an ad in wanted, anyone got any cheapy bits laying about, drop me a message
