mounting a tyre

Hi,
I have an issue were my back tyre is not mounting correctly onto the rim. I noticed this when I spin the wheel it bobs up and down. I can see around the rim where the tyre is not sitting correctly and the tyre is gripping the rim at one point and not the beading. No matter how much I try to correct it at some point it still happens. This has now ruined one tyre. Can anyone suggest how I can resolve this. (hope this makes sense)

Thanks in advance

Tim

Pump it up really hard and it should pop into place.
Be careful while you do it - don't look too closely.

Thanks, that worked a treat. I did put some soapy liquid ring the edge as well to help.

hi I find some rim tyre combinations are not v good so I part fill tyre with air on rim, spin it round & just pinch tyre at regular intervals. Then fill up to full pressure & it seems to work a treat.
