Hi all,
Im doing an uphill road sprint race this saturday on my On-One. I was wondering if I should fit semi slicks that are wire bead (panaracer mach SS), or light folding knobbley tyres (Schwalbe Smart Sam's)...?
What will serve me better in the race, less weight or less rolling resistance?
Thanks!

Less rolling resistance. Weight is only an issue when accellerating really.0

Ha, that's four words that should never form part of the same sentence!
Uphill - too much effort
Road - too much effort
Sprint - too much effort
Race - too much effort
Should be:
Downhill
MTB
snails pace

Agreed.
I enjoy the odd Time Trial and they're painful enough, but hill climbs must take a special kind of masochist.
Semi-slicks btw.0 -
Why you would do that, I don't know, but have "fun".
Semi Slicks for sure though, knobbies will be even slower.0 -

wrong wrong all wrong. 2.5 supertacky High Rollers front and back. Gives massive grip to help you accelerate faster.
Good luck0
