Riding in Yorkshire

HI,

I'm going away with the in-laws next May and staying in Thirsk near the Yorkshire Moors and want to do some riding.

Are there any centres around there, preferably with bike hire?

I imagine there is also good riding to be had in the Dales, so are there any centre over that way?
