Anybody else get this?

Only when riding in the dark; so for me when riding up through Greenwich Park on The Avenue.

Somehow, watching my front light bob and weave about the ground in front of me gives me motion sickness!!! :o

Any solutions - apart from the obvious of switching off my lights?

Cheers,
FJ

    Don't look where you're going.
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

You need a new bike, obviously.

Also, how bright is your light? I would have thought that following a small spot of light could have this effect, whereas a trillion lumen second sun would light everything up as if it was daytime, so no problems.

The strobe effect on the Fenix LD20 leaves me feeling like I'm slipping into a siezure. Not ideal so I leave it on full beam!

No sarcasm? You should post in "Commuting General".

I can't say I've ever experienced it. I ride home with an Exxposure Joystick on my helmet which gives quite a narrow spot, and 5-10 minutes of the route is on unlit roads. It's a lot brighter than your average 'commuter' headlight.

Maybe point the light up a bit so it's lighting what's in front rather than on the ground? Or spend £50 on a Magicshine (AKA Second Sun)

i get this, my eyes think they are back in a 90's disco rave accciiiiiiiid

i just close my eyes until i feel better, also helps if the bike has auto pilot an you are able to use "The Force"

on a more serious note, someone mentioned wearing amber glasses like those crazy yanks when they fire guns, don't know if it works though. Its suppose to take the glare off the light

luckily my eyes have been better over the past few days
