Can you cycle through Richmond park after dark?

Changed my commute recently to the suburbs. Last night I thought that I'd have a change and go through Richmond park, but the traffic was only being allowed out (Richmond gate) of the entrance that I had planned to use for entry so I left it.

I wanted to ask park cyclists if you stick to these one way entrances or do you push you way through and once you are inside you are fine to carry on?

My plan is to go from Richmond Gate to Kingston Gate

Yep, you can cycle in RP when its closed to motor traffic. Plenty do. Just make sure you have lights, and that they're not bright enough to dazzle other cyclists.

And watch out for the occasional skier/runner/deer.

Yes you can use the park and you can use the pedestrian gates.

Watch out for deer, runners and skiers. Remember that the deer cull stats soon and during that time the park is generally completely closed to the public between about 8pm and 7.30am. The cull generally starts at the beginning of November and although advertised as lasting six weeks I've never known it go beyond about three and a half. There is another cull in February as well.

Just use the pedestrian gates, they are open all through the night. Have a good front light(s) but take care not to blind people coming the other way.

Usually the pedestrian gate on one side of the road is open and the other is shut. As you approach Richmond use the gate on your left and again the one on your left as you leave at Kingston.

The park is often at its best after dark, especially at the weekend when so few people seem to use it.

I think this is conclusive proof that wearing a helmet is more dangerous than not wearing one.
