I have some hays breaks on my bike and all they do is
squeak and squeal all the time.
I have had them off and fitted new pads and put some
grease on the back of the pads and also cleaned the disc's
with mentholated spirits.
This stopped it for aprox 500 yds but then it has started
all over once more.
Can someone please help as the sound is doing my
head in

Thanks.

Grease is unnecessary (also not ideal to have around brakes) and methylated spirits can contain additives.
Skip the grease and clean the rotors with isopropyl alcohol.

Should only need to rinse brakes with water to get the sand/grit out.

If you are using sintered pads, they can be noisy.
    I don't do smileys.
