My mate has just ordered this from CRC and ive just noticed it has Hayes rim brakes, are they any good? It says they are for marathons and enduros etc? Is this the only difference between the normal Team and the HS33?

I used to use them when I rode trials. They were good for trials. They are powerful, expecially if you put tar or coke on the rims. I would also never buy them again as they are rim brakes and wet weather performance isnt great. They were also a ballache to set up.
  • the HS33 set up is a european model, not normally a uk spec!! (local lbs was a cube dealer) the old HS33's were good brakes, strong old beasts but iirc you needed to have reletively good rims for them or they'd eat them???
as above, mailny trials guys now,
