Climbs

I decided to change my route home one evening last week for a more challenging cycle. Feeling quite happy at the fact i had managed the route without stopping i thought i would update my map my ride only to feel deflated by my climb results.

I am interested in other peoples commute climbs, here's mine.

This is not my normal route as I normally take a more scenic route which increase my journey to 13mile each way.

My route home feels worse than mapmyride makes then out to be.

I do have a longer route which strava has a class 4 climb near home, mapmyride shows it as a 5. I suppose it's the difference between using recorded elevation data (barometric) and the SRTM data.
