Giant Trance X4

Just a heads up for anyone interested.Edinburgh bike co are currently selling the new 2012 Giant Trance X4 for £1061.It seems to be more or less the same spec as the 2011 model which had received so many good reviews and normally would retail for £1249.

    All the new season bikes appear to be significantly reduced. Surely that cant be right?

    Trance X3 has been reduced by £500! Aparently Giant are reacting to sales lost to cheaper German brands

    I was offered the 2012 x4 cheaper than the 2011 x4 bike . They had no stock of the old bike in my size and still wanted a sale. I still went for the 2011 bike. This news might mean the 2011 bikes might get even cheaper.
    Something about that blue/black bike that catches the eye.

    Do you mean the one with the blue brake cables? The bike does look good but not with blue cables. A bit too lairy for my tastes.

    As for the reaction to cheaper German brands, I can see that. I am considering the Ghost AMR 5900 (or maybe 7500) as I have found the 2011 models available for such a great price, made better by not having to pay tax on it.
