I converted to tubeless on the cheap and fitted some mountain king non UST folders, after barreling through a rock garden this morning i put a hole in the side wall, i sort of expected this was a possibility running non UST. So what would people reccomend for UST tyres with a nice tough side wall but not so draggy that i need to peddle like a tit going down hill

Cheers

I have been running 2.3 LUST High Rollers for the last 1300km. They have proven to be very durable on the rocky slopes of the Lakes. They aren't the fastest rolling tyre however. I have also had good durability with 2.3 Hutchinson Toro UST. I have heard good things about the WTB TCS Bronsons as well.

swapped over to the schwalbe double defence hd snakeskin tyres (NN & RR) and have never suffered since going tubeless

always suffering from pinch punctures and sidewalls wearing quickly with the normal tyres, but since swapping to these and going tubeless ive never had it better!
