Was wondering if anyone has owned one of these and had any problems?

Built the frame up to a high spec as it would have been purchased as a bike? Took it for a proper spin yesterday on gisburn forest red route. (very technical but not harsh on a bike). About 17km in the rear metal wheel dropouts came loose from the carbon. The resin that holds the carbon to the dropouts has failed leaving the bike useless to ride but undamaged in the sense that if resin was reapplied it would cure the problem.

I've looked on cubes website and it states 5 year warranty on frame to first owner, I'm the second :(

I'd fully take responsibility for the frame if it was my fault but this is a defect with the product and put a lot of time/money and effort into building my dream bike only for this to happen.

Any advice would be appreciated.

A distraught biker,

Dan

I think Cube carbon frames have 2 year not 5 year warranty anyway. Can you not contact the guy you bought it off to see if he can help out?
