Is there any overshoes that would fit and work with 5-10s and DMR flatties ?
Had a look at some Endura MT500 overshoes today, the rubber part around the toes look like they'd take a bit of stick but the rest of the sole doesn't look like they'd last to long on flatties.
Surely must be something out there ??

Cheers

I do, but i also want my 5-10s to stay as dry as possible, they take a good while to dry out so if you use them mid week and they get soaked there still wet come the week end !

Instead of spending £ on overshoes, get 2 pairs, they'll also last you twice as long then and you'll always have a dry pair :)

I have been using some Endura Luminite overshoes with my Shimano AM41s. They have kept my shoes clean and dry but I am not sure how long they are going to last. I have worn them about 6 times and it looks like the fabric around the heels is starting to wear.

They are made from a stretchy neoprene-like fabric so they will accomodate different shaped shoes. I wear a 44 Shimano and I bought the XL size Luminite. If it wasn't for the premature wear I would give them full marks. I have ridden through some small lakes recently and they have kept my feet completely dry.
  • Small lakes? You mean puddles or actual lakes?

Ok, I exaggerated a bit. Giant, trail filling, 2 foot deep puddles that could not be ridden around. And the occasional stream crossing. We have seen a lot of rain recently.
  • Dry as a bone over on the east coast mate :)
