  • Has the person who sold the sram force equipped Basso for £310 got anything else for sail?

jk, You got a brilliant bike and a brilliant deal there. What happened to the seat stay?

Buy a second hand bike off here or ebay, swap the parts over to your frame, sell left over frame. Job done.
I'll pm you my details so you can send me my commission...

A good deal all in all and that Basso was a bargain given the Force groupset items.

I have a link to this sale along the line because I sold the eBayer that Scott Addict R1 bike about 18 months ago!

There are bargains on eBay from time to time!

    Well done.

You might be doing yourself a dis-service there - presumably you still have the broken Basso frame. That ought to make a few quid - it is ebay after all!

the frame was repaired approx 10cm above the rear hanger . the original frame is bear carbon HMX with clear lacquer over it , the repair was painted gloss black , unfortunately the pin-stripe is not the correct shade of yellow and slightly thicker towards the end compared to the original on the non drive side . very happy with the repair , paint poor though . i still love the bike though . it weighed 1.5kg with fork and seatpost and headset included and its a 58cm XL .

    cheers Tim

i used the forks from the basso on my "TANGO TURBO" http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... 1#17278601

and yes i may put the frame on ebay , or get my friend to take in to british areospace and left him try a 10X stronger than steel alloy/epoxy repair .

    cheers
