    This will work just fine, but make sure to drape a rag over the bit that is going to ping off otherwise you risk taking a huge chunk out of your frame / LCD TV / face when it flies off.

    Ok thanks, I think I will take them off and do it properly.

    I've had a bad couple of weeks trying to fix things and ended up breaking other bits - twice. (wifes iphone :( )

    Last thing I need is further troubles with my new bike.
