One Snow board as I don't do so much of it now.
Pair Factory Slalom skis
Pair Factory Giant Slalom skis
Pair of off piste skis (although I usually use the stiff slalom skis )
Pair of Very light touring skis with touring bindings (hut to hutting / touring)
Pair of day touring skis, with stronger touring bindings, bit more robust than the above.
Pair of telemark skis
To go with these
Pair of snowboard boots
Pair of Dobermann 140 flex race boots (don't try those at home kids) for the slalom /GS skis
Pair of 120 flex day to day boots
Pair of touring boots with vibram soles
Pair of telemark boots
Few odd pairs of ski boots occasionally used.
Poles - slalom, GS, adjustable touring x2, couple of ordinary pairs of day poles.
Lets not start on the touring / off piste bag of ancilleries
TBF they all were used on a weekly basis.
Halcyon days of the phone ringing at 7:30 in the morning and a plan for the day sorted depending on conditions or mood. Then down to the toy shop in the basement to pick a pair of skis / boots, espresso at the caffe and away.
If the weather was carp then wouldn't bother with the snow unless teaching.
But then as I used to arrive in the Alps in October for pre season training and leave in May to return to Blighty the pressure was well off to ride every day. After 10 years of it routine springs to mind. So decided to change all that a couple of years ago.
These days I prefer a more normal routine of being based back here.
I only did one days skiing last season with some Swiss friends in Zermatt, despite going to Val d'Isere for a few days to see friends.
Nice to be in a position of being able to ski anything yet not wanting to jet off every 2 mins and cram in every waking moment on the mountain.
We'll see this season. Maybe an ickle trip for some pow pow?

Err...1 pair of skis, 2 pairs of boots (one that I haven't used in 10 years)."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Wow, thought I was bad
1 beginners snowboard & bindings (Burton Feather & Stilettos), retired.
1 cheap freestyle board & bindings (Technine T9 & T9), used for UK sliding at the park and if I ever venture back to a dry slope (not likely)
1 high end cruising board & bindings (Burton Feelgood & Lexas), likely to get retired v soon
1 super noodly freestyle board & bindings (K2 VVVrocker & Stilettos) which I love.
In the market for a new All mountain, cruising, freestyle machine... just don't know if I can justify it when I'm not sure whether I can board yet...
1 pair Salomon boots
1 pair old Burton boots
6 pairs of pants, 6 jackets, 2 helmets...
I have a room that is affectionately nicknamed 'The Board Room' but in reality it's a kit room coz it's got all my biking and horse riding clothes and kit in it too.0 -

I have a Burton Supermodel (162cm) and still ride in my old school Switch step ins.
I'll be gutted when my set up dies cos then I'll end up going back to straps and will never again have the smug satisfaction of skating off a chair lift and then clicking my rear foot in as I ride off all in one smooth motion. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
DF33, nice quiver!
Currently hidden around the flat:
Salomon 2V Lab / 916s
Salomon 3V Lab / 916s
Storm Inferno / Vist (614s I think)
Dynastar Legend Sultan 94 / Look P14s
Volkl Mantra / 997WC (14-20 dins)
Several pairs of GS, SL poles.
Looking into a pair of DPS 112RPs and Dukes for lift-assisted and possibly something like a Whitedot Redeemer for deep days. Tend to hire kit for touring. Sadly airline bagage limitations mean I have to be selective with what I take."Mummy Mummy, when will I grow up?"
