When buying brakes is the hose length the length of the hose you can see or does it take into account the bit that is in the finishing (not sure what its called) at the caliper and lever end?

Thanks

Complete brake systems the hose is the visable part, replacment hose is the length of the hose, but you knew this already.

  • No, I think the length will be the visible bit, but it's worth checking, the measurements may nt be accurate.

If your talking about the banjo and the inline fitting and the nut and olive then no it doesn't....the hose length is the hose length. Usually 90 cm for front and 150 for rear and cut to size.
