I have a set of these: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... -09-33975/

My forks (Fox F100) don't have a 20mm setup so I bought a set of these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=17146

But with them installed they are now too wide to fit between my dropouts. What have I misunderstood / failed to do properly?

Thanks in advance.

so your wheels are not 2012. so they will not work.

    not all wheels are changeable.

Thanks, but this says that they are compatible with the Crossmax SX09. Do Fox forks come in different spacings? I'm at a loss to understand this!

Was there existing 20mm spacers that you had to pull out of the hubs?

    Hi Supersonic.

No, nothing like that. I'll try to post some pics later.

I think there is a mistake on the Mavic website - the adaptors work with some versions of SX, but not the 09. I have looked at an exploded diagram of the hub, and it doesn't use adaptors of any kind. Other so, and the part is listed.

If you want to see, go to tech-mavic.com

You can see that the SX and SX 09 use different axles.

I think you are right. B*gger.

I will try speaking with Mavic UK who I believe are in Frimley which is just down the road from me.

Nice idea, does seem a shame if they have cocked up, as many retailers are selling these adaptors saying they work.

Possibly a new axle would do the trick, but unsure.
