Every time I visit the doctor I'm in a waiting room with one wall painted presumably by children. It depicts racehorses on the High Street, and in the background there lurks the Rutland Arm's Hotel. Rutland Arm's FFS! My blood pressure's off the scale by the time I get to see the quack!

    They'd be Rutland's Arms.

Nothing wrong with them as long as the apostrophe's in the right place.

Read eats shoots and leaves by lynne truss, you'll understand for a bit, never actually use the knowledge then realise you've forgotten when your chance to shine comes

As in Arms belonging to Rutland or as I asked Arms that are from Rutland?

You see, mine are from Rutland and I just wanted to know if you could see my bingo wings through your monitor.

You use a semicolon when you want to join two complete sentences into 1 sentence.

You use a colon to extract water and salt from your excrement.

Now we're up and running (hopefully I've used the apostrophe correctly! ).

I'll declare an interest now as I have an unhealthy obsession with pointy high heels (particularly on boots)
