Setting out this morning and the cars in my road were all covered in ice.
Rather bracing commute in, but as it was a tad on the "fresh" side, think it helped my speed. No frost that I could see on the roads, though was wary of any wet patches at the sides. The gathering light in the almost cloud free sky made Glasgow look rather beautiful.

Yes, a fantastic cycle in this morning. Helped with the fact I am off tomorrow.... heading East to see the gorgeous St Cyrus beach and Montrose Basin.

It was 2C at 7:45am and that had risen to 3C by 8:30am in London.

I know that because I was in my car. Got to go to Hull again this afternoon, so would have struggled to get my suitcase on my bike.

It was 0 Centigrade in Ipswich this morning - the mesh sections on my cyclng shoes letting plenty of cold air in, so my toes were freezing by the time I got to work [12.5 mile commute]. I reckon I might try plastic bags over my socks. I don't want to use the heavy overshoes I have unless it's wet.

Nice ride though, and the deep blue in the sky before the sun made it up was pretty.

Wooly Boolies kept my feet from being too cold.... though could still feel it. Long finger, lightweight gloves were OK, but thinking about the winter ones now..... still in shorts though!!

Very pretty in Bushy Park. Temperature drops noticeably once through the gate. Probably still about 0'C in there as it was just above freezing when I left the house.

Ha, I should clarify that I meant plus 7 :D

I'm hoping that I don't have to ride in minus 7 at all this year!
